In this Issue: Amar Jesani writes about the problems and process affecting health in Nicaragua; Malini Karkal discusses the population policy in China and Padma Prakash draws attention to the changes brought about in the health care system in Mozambique after 1975. Bob Deacon's reprinted article raises relevant issues regarding health and health care in the three post-revolutionary societies, Soviet Union, Hungary and Poland. And 'Update' is a section for reports, notes and comments.
